Invited directly by 1Password to apply for the position within the marketing team’s Design Studio, providing me with the opportunity to work cross functionally within a large scale tech driven organization. The role entailed partnering and with key stake holders, marketing leaders and fellow designers, illustrators and motion graphics experts, to achieve effective visual storytelling and engaging usability across 1Password.com and promotional landing pages, focused towards B2B/B2C customers and the developer community.
Promotion to Senior Art Director allowed me to flex my design skills to direct and manage new creative standards for the entire paid media creative department. I continued to help grow designers though the implementation of best practices and new advertising methods, as well as focused on my own growth in the areas of creative strategy though daily collaboration across the entire Creative department, developing brand guidelines, motion and content creation strategy.
Maintained ownership of design standards and implementation and was responsible for project planning and co-ordination of client-driven projects across both Web and Email creative departments. I was able to further expand my leadership skills in the coaching of individual designers, developing their skillsets and knowledge, through formal weekly one-to-one meetings and daily stand-ups. In addition, I ensured our design teams had clear goals and targets to support them in creating optimized deliverables and worked within established departmental process.
I effectively built upon my UI/UX design skills and experience within this role, and improved the overall quality and standards of the agency’s web and email design. My prior experience enabled me to successfully design and implement new UI/UX strategies and practices, while co-ordinating with designers to promote best practices and overall improvement.
Worked directly with individuals, businesses and creative agencies to help solve unique user experience driven problems and deliver bespoke digital design solutions focused on Web, UI/UX design. I focused on helping businesses clarify and enhance their brand/product identities and capture target audiences.
Oversaw and lead visual design and user experience focused production of interactive online learning courses and materials, created in accordance with custom specifications for domestic and global non-profit organisations and charities.
Enhanced and focused my skill sets and gain invaluable creative agency experience. Working collaboratively alongside fellow development team members, visual designers and instructional designers enabled the delivery of interactive learning products for a variety of high profile global organisations and businesses.
